Why are nearly all college girls sluts? i swear they all get drunk and just have sex with anyone. i mean, im different from most guys, im not trying to look for a girl just to have sex, i want someone who respects themselves.... but it seems impossible to find. | | Hey. I'm always free. Call me ;) | I'm going to be a drunk slut at the end of the night for halloween, any suggestions? Slutty dress, messed up hair, smeared makeup, mud on my knees, constantly carrying an almost empty bottle of booze - that my halloween costume, inspired by the girls at my college. I go to the #2 party school in the country. I'd like to score with some of the drunk sluts. How can I do that? I'm not into bars and I don't have invites to the right parties to hook up with the type of women I want. Any tips or suggestions? | | If your not popular your not gonna fornicate with the sluts, where do you go? Arizona State? Wisconsin? | Do girls like this ever succeed in college? There's this girl I know. She goes to parties (alcohol and drug type parties) and is a bit of a slut. But she says that she wants to go to college to be an anesthesiologist. There are other girls like this. They get drunk at parties all the time and are complete sluts but they still want to go to college.Do girls like them ever succeed in college?

I know that drunk sluts are always going to be throwing themselves at him. I trust him and know he woulnt do anything but it just makes me feel horrible knowing that girls are doing that. Idk :/ I mean I flirt with tons of guys and just never let anything happen (all in good fun) and I guess I should let him do the same. Idk it just makes me feel sick to my stomach :/ | | Are you sure that you are dating David Beckham? | In college, are you more likely to be raped by a stranger or someone you know? I am leaving for college and I am terrified of being raped, especially if I get too drunk or high. I don't know any of the boys and I have heard horror stories of girls passing out at frat parties and frat guys running trains on them and in the morning they know they were raped but they can't remember what happened so they just have to keep their mouths shut or look like a slut.
What situations/places/people should I be aware of? | As mentioned above, someone you know. The stats vary based on the study, but it tends to be that over 50% are raped by someone who they know. It does not have to be someone you know well, just someone you've come into contact before, like from a club or a class (an acquaintance). Some situations where rape is more common are frat parties, parties with a lot of athletes, parties with a lot of males, places with alcohol and drugs. Of course alcohol plays a big role in being raped, both if the female and the male are drunk or just one of the two.
The best ways to protect yourself if you do not want to avoid parties are to not get drunk/use drugs, leave if you feel unsafe, use the escort system that are in place at many schools, go with someone and have a buddy system in place where you watch out for one another, stuff like that. I know I reiterated what others have said, this is what I am covering in my class right now.
A recent study found that about 90% of the victims knew their offender, with the three most common categories being classmate, friend, and boyfriend/ex-boyfriend. Most are assaulted in private dwellings, late at night, and with alcohol and/or drugs involved. | Do you think drinking on college campus is that big of a problem? I am a 26 year old student, I don't really drink, and I've gone to both a 4 year college and currently at a community college. The 4 year college I went to at age 18 was a very small, kind of conservative college and I stayed in a freshmen only/dry dorm (though not everyone followed the dry rule), but still I rarely saw or heard anyone drinking, or drunk. Or even using illegal drugs, yet you hear about it happening often. At my community college, I've yet to find someone illegally drinking on campus and I rarely hear of stories of someone being drunk the night before or leaving school to go get drunk during the day. And at the university I went to, people usually drank on the weekend and in desinated dorms and off-campus places where they could drink. But a Lifetime movie I just watched showed a dramatic story about a girl who loses her bf to binge drinking their first year of college. And you hear about it in the news and some of the wild parties and spring breaks they go on. So it kind of makes college guys (especially females) look like drunken "sluts" when that's only a small minority of them taht do that. But then again the colleges I have gone to, aren't known for their partying. And I know binge drinking on college campuses happened but do you think the media blows it out of proportion? | | i think the college parties portrayed in popular culture makes up only a small percentage of actual college students, but it really depends on the school you go to. drinking is very common(at least at my university) but the wild parties aren't as common. | Scared about partying in college? I'm going to college in about a month. I've received two invitations already that advertise a lot of drinking. In addition there are pictures from past events of girls acting like sluts. The entire idea of these parties makes me really uncomfortable. Is This what all drinking parties are like? Do I have to drink in college? Do most girls act like that when drunk? | No, but it is hard to control what one WILL act like when drunk, which is why, if you have standards you want to maintain, you will avoid getting that drunk. Those pictures, unfortunately, are the fantasies of many college men, and many shy girls may be attracted to those images as well, thinking that by drinking a lot, they could loosen up and get to know people. The invitations show these images because they seem wild and uncontrolled, which is appealing to many students moving away from home for the first time.
While the numbers of students who engage in binge drinking is far too high at most colleges, statistics show that even at the worst partying colleges, there is a substantial percentage of students who do NOT indulge in this. There are always plenty of things to do aside from going to drinking parties (and not every party at which alcohol is served is a "drinking party"). Look for a purpose beyond the drinking. If the party is to introduce you to the members of a club, or to raise money for charity, or something like that, there may be drinking, but they expect people to be sober enough to accomplish their purpose. If the whole purpose of the party seems to be drinking, and you are uncomfortable with that, then skip those.
Although I'm a faculty member and not a student, I've traveled with students to a competition at another university in the past. Students there put on a party at the end of the competition, and it always sounded to me to be far too focused on drinking. One year my students begged me to go with them, and I told them I wasn't comfortable being among a lot of really drunk people. So I would go with them for one drink, but then I would go home before people got really drunk. We went down to the hotel lobby, and it was obvious that a number of students from other schools had been drinking before the party, and were lurching around the lobby roaring and acting absurdly. I told my students that I wasn't comfortable with this and went back to my room. They went to the party. The next morning, the hotel's hallways had been trashed, and there were beer cans everywhere (the party had been at another location, but people had come back to the hotel after it was over). I later found out that people had been verbally abusive to one of my students on the bus going to the party (I had to contact the competition's faculty advisor and say that unless there was better training of student leaders or more supervision, I would not be bringing students back the next year). With one exception, none of my students had a good time, and all said I was right not to have gone and they wished they hadn't either. They were disgusted at the one student who did get really drunk and fully joined in. So yes, these parties do happen, and they happen too often at many colleges, but they aren't required of anyone, and you can always find something else to do and someone else to do it with. If you get excluded by everyone because you aren't into heavy drinking, you may need to rethink your college choice. | I never get invited to any parties? I'm going to college soon and I want to get invited to parties so I can bang drunk sluts and lose my virginity, what can I do? | Similar experience. In my small highschool I was the cute funny guy. I wanted to be the manly strong guy, because no one really took me seriously. I started a bulk which took me from 135 to 240. This bulk turned me into the "oh my god what the ****?".
2 Years after finishing bulk I run into the cutest (most conceited) girl from my highschool. She barely recognized me and was "Shocked" at how "good I looked".
